How to find us:

Echo Bay is accessible by boat or floatplane only, but we’re easy to find in Proctor Bay at Billy’s Museum, within walking distance of Pierre’s at Echo Bay Marina on Gilford Island in the Broughton Archipelago. Echo Bay is approximately 30 miles northeast of Port McNeill & Telegraph Cove along the Inside Passage of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada.

Lat: 50 degrees 45 min. 4.7 sec. North
Long: 126 degrees 29 min. 49.2 sec. West

Port McNeill is the nearest town to Echo Bay. It is approximately a 4 hour drive from Nanaimo on the North Island Hwy, on Vancouver Island. Ferry schedules from Vancouver to Nanaimo are available at www.bcferries.com.

Water Taxi Options:

There are two companies I recommend for the North Island:

Bruce McMorran of The Paddler’s Inn

Mike Willie of Sea Wolf Adventures

Echo Bay EcoVentures may offer a discounted water taxi service depending on availability.  Email us at atlekim@gmail.com
